1899 THE SHERIFF GOLD MINING COMPANY - Cripple Creek, Colorado - Owned the Sheriff Lode, which was 10 acres, on the saddle between Raven and Bull Hill. Ore of paying grade was shipped from nearly every working on the property, but no large continuous chute was found. From what I could gather from my research, he actually discovered the Sheriff Lode. What a great "Old West" certificate!
