GENUINE CORE SAMPLES FROM THE HOMESTAKE GOLD MINE - LEAD, SOUTH DAKOTA

Bored from solid rock using a diamond drill for exploration purposes. Rock from this famous mine is extremely old - approximately 2.3 billion years!

I of course cannot guarantee how much gold they contain. The Homestake would typically process tons of ore to get one ounce of gold, although miners would discover very rich ore from time to time.

12 inch ruler at the bottom for scale.       CORE # 7 was cut in half  lengthwise with a rock saw.

With the Homestake long-since closed, these core samples are getting harder to find. This is your chance to add one to your collection.

Price - $22.50 / each plus shipping
