1920 LUNING CONSOLIDATED SILVER MINES COMPANY - Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada - Formed in 1920 as a merger between the Luning Gold Mines Company and the R.B. Todd Mining Company. In 1921, production was about $30,000 in gold and silver. The mine experienced a fire between 1922-23 but work resumed in 1924.

1906 CHIPMUNK GOLD MINING COMPANY of Manhattan, Nevada - Incorporated Under the Laws of Arizona, January 1906 - I did find reference to this company in the 1907-1908 Esmeralda County, Goldfield, NV Business Directory. W.E. Kinney secretary. This particular mining district was known as the Chipmunk Gold Belt. What a great name!

INDEX COALITION MINES COMPANY - Dated December 24th but the issuer forgot to fill in the year. My research shows that this company was incorporated in 1909 and since this is stock #20, I would assume it was issued in 1909. Had offices at Salt Lake City, Utah but the actual mining operation was in the Alum Creek District, Esmeralda County, Nevada. Worked one claim that produced gold & silver ore. Signed by the president, E.S. Armstrong and secretary, J.A. McCaskell. Issued to L.B. McCornick for 34,167 shares worth 25 cents each. "PROMOTION STOCK" stamped at top.
