1894 ST. JOSEPH ARTESIAN ICE & COLD STORAGE COMPANY - St. Joseph, Missouri - Organized by notable St. Joseph businessman Huston Wyeth, who signed this certificate as company president. The ice was transported by horse-drawn carts.

FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF ALBIA, IOWA - Set of 3 very old checks dated 1875, 1877 and 1878. Larger than the checks we use today. Imprinted revenue at center. The oldest one has a different revenue stamp. Excellent detailed vignette.

1900 NORTH ARKANSAS MINING & INVESTMENT COMPANY - Van Buren, Arkansas - This operation was in the Maumee Mining District. Owned the Maumee Mine which produced sphalerite concentrates averaging 60.2% zinc. The shaft was 138 feet deep. The property was equipped with a 100 ton concentrating plant.

1918 LAMPAZOS SILVER MINES COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Delaware - 100 share certificate issued to George Graham Rice, who was a well-known nevada promoter / swindler. This was one of many stock scams he ran over the years. His actual signature is on the reverse. The Lampazos property was said to be near Sonora, Mexico.

1907 GREENE GOLD SILVER COMPANY - Incorporated in West Virginia - Founded by William Cornell Greene. The mines were 45 miles south of the Arizona border at Chihuahua, Mexico.

1890 ENSLEY LAND COMPANY - Incorporated in Alabama - Jefferson County - Founded by Enoch Ensley. Ensley Land and the Tennessee Coal & Iron RR Company constructed several large blast furnaces on the site. Offices located at Ensley, Alabama (The town must have been named after him)
